NRP Track Rules:
NEIGHBORHOOD RACE PARK Huntsville, TX
Steward: This is a "Volunteer Steward" racetrack. Stewards will vary. The track is coordinated by Veronica Weisbeck, E-Mail: v.weisbeck1@gmail.com.
NRP is open to first-timers trying out running a meet, so Stakes races will not always be offered.
Rules:
1) Entry limit is 2 horses per race unless otherwise specified.
2) Entries MUST HAVE CLIFF NOTES please.
3) Please send all your entries as an attachment, not in the email is preferred.
4) Maiden races with 1 entry will be cancelled or combined with another race wherever possible. Steward has the option to extend entry due date in order to fill races.

Neighborhood Race Park is a 1 mile track, consisting of mostly sand, making it easy to maintain, even within the unpredictable Texas weather. Because of our sandy surface, our track is almost always Fast. Only when racing in or just after a downpour will you see a sloppy track, or a move off the Turf. (When the track is sloppy, it is actually soupy sand, and the footing is still good, unlike the more Dirt type tracks, which tend to get slippery.)

Neighborhood Race Park offers many quality races with good purses. The track is open year round as a training facility when not holding a meet. The Houston Area has a great climate for Winter racing.

Neighborhood Race Park would like to invite all Trainers and Owners to come out and enjoy our Southern Hospitality!
